Sarah Broughton, LCMHC
Family Therapist / Therapist
Sarah Broughton is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with extensive experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. At Ignite Adulthood, she brings a compassionate and collaborative approach, helping families build stronger connections, improve communication, and develop practical strategies for lasting growth.
Sarah’s work at Ignite includes up to four clinical touch points per week, two weekly groups, a parent coaching call, and a treatment planning call, ensuring that families remain an integral part of the therapeutic process. Weekly family coaching sessions help parents understand how to support their young adults’ growth while providing tools for strengthening family relationships.
Her clinical work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. She specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions, always creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space for clients and families to feel seen, heard, and empowered.
